Agios Prokopios is situated 5 km from the island’s capital.

It is the most popular Naxos beach and world recognised as one of the most beautiful in Europe due to its marvellously crystal clear water and the great quality of the sand, mostly composed of rice sized grains of creamy marble.



It is a 1.5 km long beach protected from the wind.


Agios Prokopios can be easily reached by bus (bus departs every 20-30 min from the port of Naxos town during the season). It is the second popular tourist area on the island after Naxos town.

The village of Agios Prokopios offers all facilities, restaurants, small bars, super market, tourist information, telephone, internet facilities etc…

In the biggest part of St Prokopios beach, umbrellas, sun beds and sea sports can be found.
