Orkos is an excellent beach situated in the continuity of Plaka 18 km from Naxos town.

Actually The area consists of several beautiful little and quiet sandy beaches different in size, varying from less than 10 meters to 200 meters.

The landscape of the area is beautiful. Impressive hills with red colours are situated behind the beaches.


Orkos also offers some accommodation facilities. The beach is famous for its windsurfing conditions but there are no clubs on the beach. The beach is reachable by car through the beach resort of Mikri Vigla.
