On the north side of the island, Abram Beach, is the most well known, easily accessible and popular sandy beach.

Agia Anna is situated 7 km from the main town, just after the beach of Agios Prokopios. The area is characterised by an endless sandy beach only interrupted by a small fishing port and some rocky points.

Ayiassos is one of the last Naxos beaches at the southwest part of the island. It is a nice and quiet sandy beach protected by the wind.

Agios George is the capital’s beach. It is one of the most popular Naxos beaches, because is so close to the town.
It is a long full organised sandy beach offering sun beds, umbrellas and water sports facilities.

Apollonas is a small and charming fishing village in the north of the island. The village has a comfortable sandy beach lined by many fish restaurants offering food of quality and, a couple of cafes.

Alyko is the most quiet area on the west-side part of the island. This area is a combination of wonderful white sandy beaches, big red/brown rocks behind the beach and the natural beauty of the mainland where cedar-trees and mastic trees grow. Paradise!

Mikri Vigla is situated 18 km from the main town and it is considered as one of the most beautiful Naxos beach resorts. The area has two fantastic beaches separated by an hill.

Kastraki is the beach after Mikri Vigla. It is a beautiful golden sandy beach with crystal water. Due to its length (about 17km long) one can find an ideal place to swim.

Orkos is an excellent beach situated in the continuity of Plaka 18 km from Naxos town. Actually The area consists of several beautiful little and quiet sandy beaches different in size, varying from less than 10 meters to 200 meters.

Plaka (5 km from Naxos town) is one of the most beautiful Naxos beaches. It is the continuity of the beach of Agia Anna. It is a fantastic, quiet and a 4 km long sandy beach with crystal waters. Nudism allowed.

After the beach of Alyko lies the beach of Pyrgaki.
The area combines the beauty of the beach with the natural beauty of inland.

Agios Prokopios is situated 5 km from the island’s capital. Can easily be reached and is the most popular Naxos beach.
